Barangay Caaniplahan

Barangay Caaniplahan forms part of Talavera, a municipality in Nueva Ecija, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Caaniplahan had a population of 1,697. This made it the 34th largest of 53 barangays in Talavera by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caaniplahan accounted for approximately 1.28% of the total population of Talavera, which stood at 132,338 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Caaniplahan changed from 1,613 to 1,697, a shift of +5.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Talavera. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Caaniplahan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Talavera is a municipality comprising 53 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Caaniplahan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
