Barangay Kinalanguyan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Kinalanguyan is one of the administrative divisions of Talavera in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kinalanguyan had a population of 1,172. This made it the 46th largest of 53 barangays in Talavera by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kinalanguyan accounted for approximately 0.89% of the total population of Talavera, which stood at 132,338 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kinalanguyan changed from 1,047 to 1,172, a shift of +11.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Talavera. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kinalanguyan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Talavera is a municipality comprising 53 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kinalanguyan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
