Barangay Poblacion

Barangay Poblacion is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Talibon, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 4,153. This made it the 6th largest of 25 barangays in Talibon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 5.83% of the total population of Talibon, which stood at 71,272 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 4,333 residents to 4,153 residents, an intercensal change of -4.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Poblacion is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
