Barangay Bag-ong Tabogon

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Bag-ong Tabogon is one of the administrative divisions of Tambulig in Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bag-ong Tabogon had a population of 469. This made it the 26th largest of 31 barangays in Tambulig by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bag-ong Tabogon accounted for approximately 1.25% of the total population of Tambulig, which stood at 37,480 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bag-ong Tabogon moving from 449 residents to 469 residents, an intercensal change of +4.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bag-ong Tabogon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
