Barangay Kapalaran

Barangay Kapalaran is a small barangay in the municipality of Tambulig, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kapalaran had a population of 1,075. This made it the 15th largest of 31 barangays in Tambulig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kapalaran accounted for approximately 2.87% of the total population of Tambulig, which stood at 37,480 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kapalaran moving from 996 residents to 1,075 residents, an intercensal change of +7.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Kapalaran is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
