Barangay Pula-bato

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pula-bato is one of the administrative divisions of Tampakan in South Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pula-bato had a population of 1,930. This made it the 11th largest of 14 barangays in Tampakan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pula-bato accounted for approximately 4.71% of the total population of Tampakan, which stood at 41,018 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pula-bato changed from 1,838 to 1,930, a shift of +5.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tampakan. Barangay Pula-bato is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tampakan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pula-bato, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
