Barangay Da-an Norte

Barangay Da-an Norte forms part of Tapaz, a municipality in Capiz, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Da-an Norte had a population of 676. This made it the 38th largest of 58 barangays in Tapaz by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Da-an Norte accounted for approximately 1.24% of the total population of Tapaz, which stood at 54,423 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Da-an Norte changed from 702 to 676, a shift of -3.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Tapaz. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Da-an Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
