Barangay San Julian

This made it the 9th largest of 58 barangays in Tapaz by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Julian accounted for approximately 2.54% of the total population of Tapaz, which stood at 54,423 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,388 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,384 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.3%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay San Julian is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tapaz is a municipality comprising 58 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Julian, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
