Barangay San Miguel Ilawod

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Miguel Ilawod is one of the administrative divisions of Tapaz in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Miguel Ilawod had a population of 978. This made it the 21st largest of 58 barangays in Tapaz by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Miguel Ilawod accounted for approximately 1.80% of the total population of Tapaz, which stood at 54,423 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 931 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 978 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.0%, consistent with a growing settlement.
