Barangay Nangan-nangan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Nangan-nangan is one of the administrative divisions of Tigbao in Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nangan-nangan had a population of 699. This made it the 15th largest of 18 barangays in Tigbao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nangan-nangan accounted for approximately 3.22% of the total population of Tigbao, which stood at 21,675 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nangan-nangan moving from 683 residents to 699 residents, an intercensal change of +2.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nangan-nangan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
