Barangay Bariis

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bariis is one of the administrative divisions of Tiwi in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bariis had a population of 1,152. This made it the 23rd largest of 25 barangays in Tiwi by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bariis accounted for approximately 2.04% of the total population of Tiwi, which stood at 56,444 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bariis moving from 1,092 residents to 1,152 residents, an intercensal change of +5.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Bariis is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
