This made it the 43rd largest of 44 barangays in Ubay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Los Angeles accounted for approximately 0.67% of the total population of Ubay, which stood at 81,799 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Los Angeles changed from 601 to 551, a shift of -8.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Ubay. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Los Angeles as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
