Barangay Sinandigan

Barangay Sinandigan forms part of Ubay, a municipality in Bohol, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sinandigan had a population of 2,683. This made it the 12th largest of 44 barangays in Ubay by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sinandigan accounted for approximately 3.28% of the total population of Ubay, which stood at 81,799 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,242 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,683 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +19.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Sinandigan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ubay is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sinandigan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
