Barangay Tuboran

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tuboran is one of the administrative divisions of Ubay in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tuboran had a population of 1,468. This made it the 27th largest of 44 barangays in Ubay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tuboran accounted for approximately 1.79% of the total population of Ubay, which stood at 81,799 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tuboran moving from 1,394 residents to 1,468 residents, an intercensal change of +5.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tuboran as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
