Barangay Concepcion

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Concepcion is one of the administrative divisions of Umingan in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Concepcion had a population of 992. This made it the 37th largest of 58 barangays in Umingan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Concepcion accounted for approximately 1.29% of the total population of Umingan, which stood at 77,074 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Concepcion moving from 883 residents to 992 residents, an intercensal change of +12.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Concepcion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Umingan is a municipality comprising 58 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Concepcion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
