Barangay Diaz

Situated in Umingan, Pangasinan, Barangay Diaz is one of 58 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Diaz had a population of 1,945. This made it the 13th largest of 58 barangays in Umingan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Diaz accounted for approximately 2.52% of the total population of Umingan, which stood at 77,074 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Diaz moving from 1,462 residents to 1,945 residents, an intercensal change of +33.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Diaz as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
