Barangay San Juan

Barangay San Juan is a small barangay in the municipality of Umingan, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Juan had a population of 1,116. This made it the 33rd largest of 58 barangays in Umingan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Juan accounted for approximately 1.45% of the total population of Umingan, which stood at 77,074 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Juan moving from 1,172 residents to 1,116 residents, an intercensal change of -4.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Juan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
