Barangay Santo Domingo

Barangay Santo Domingo is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Vinzons, located in the province of Camarines Norte, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Domingo had a population of 4,656. This made it the 3rd largest of 19 barangays in Vinzons by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Domingo accounted for approximately 9.49% of the total population of Vinzons, which stood at 49,042 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santo Domingo moving from 4,145 residents to 4,656 residents, an intercensal change of +12.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Domingo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Vinzons is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Domingo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
