Barangay Santo Rosario Young

Barangay Santo Rosario Young forms part of Zaragoza, a municipality in Nueva Ecija, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Rosario Young had a population of 3,884. This made it the 4th largest of 19 barangays in Zaragoza by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Rosario Young accounted for approximately 7.32% of the total population of Zaragoza, which stood at 53,090 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,914 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,884 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.8%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Rosario Young as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Zaragoza is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Rosario Young, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
