Barangay San Jose

Barangay San Jose is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Aguilar, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Jose had a population of 3,031. This made it the 7th largest of 16 barangays in Aguilar by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose accounted for approximately 6.72% of the total population of Aguilar, which stood at 45,100 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Jose moving from 2,585 residents to 3,031 residents, an intercensal change of +17.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
