Barangay Baluntay

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Baluntay is one of the administrative divisions of Alabel in Sarangani, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

This made it the 10th largest of 13 barangays in Alabel by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Baluntay changed from 4,346 to 4,736, a shift of +9.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Alabel. Barangay Baluntay is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Alabel is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Baluntay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
