Barangay Pagsanahan Norte

Barangay Pagsanahan Norte is a small barangay in the municipality of Badoc, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pagsanahan Norte had a population of 1,170. This made it the 12th largest of 31 barangays in Badoc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pagsanahan Norte accounted for approximately 3.60% of the total population of Badoc, which stood at 32,530 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,180 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,170 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.8%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pagsanahan Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Badoc is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pagsanahan Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
