Barangay Pasuc

Situated in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Pasuc is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pasuc had a population of 505. This made it the 29th largest of 31 barangays in Badoc by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pasuc accounted for approximately 1.55% of the total population of Badoc, which stood at 32,530 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 428 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 505 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +18.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pasuc as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Badoc is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pasuc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Ilocos Norte, which contains 559 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pasuc ranks 487th by 2020 population.
