Barangay Balbalan Proper

Barangay Balbalan Proper is a small barangay in the municipality of Balbalan, located in the province of Kalinga, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Balbalan Proper had a population of 1,103. This made it the 4th largest of 14 barangays in Balbalan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balbalan Proper accounted for approximately 8.54% of the total population of Balbalan, which stood at 12,914 in the same census year.
