Barangay Fabrica

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Fabrica is one of the administrative divisions of Barcelona in Sorsogon, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Fabrica had a population of 859. This made it the 10th largest of 25 barangays in Barcelona by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Fabrica accounted for approximately 4.09% of the total population of Barcelona, which stood at 20,987 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Fabrica moving from 918 residents to 859 residents, an intercensal change of -6.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Fabrica as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Barcelona is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Fabrica, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
