Barangay Bulalacao

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bulalacao is one of the administrative divisions of Bataraza in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bulalacao had a population of 2,127. This made it the 15th largest of 22 barangays in Bataraza by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bulalacao accounted for approximately 2.49% of the total population of Bataraza, which stood at 85,439 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bulalacao moving from 1,940 residents to 2,127 residents, an intercensal change of +9.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bulalacao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
