Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Bongabon in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.) had a population of 587. This made it the 27th largest of 28 barangays in Bongabon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.88% of the total population of Bongabon, which stood at 66,839 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 623 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 587 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -5.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bongabon is a municipality comprising 28 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Ecija, which contains 849 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Sisilang na Ligaya (Pob.) ranks 812th by 2020 population.
