Barangay Buenavista

Barangay Buenavista forms part of Bonifacio, a municipality in Misamis Occidental, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Buenavista had a population of 1,348. This made it the 11th largest of 28 barangays in Bonifacio by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buenavista accounted for approximately 3.90% of the total population of Bonifacio, which stood at 34,558 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Buenavista moving from 1,261 residents to 1,348 residents, an intercensal change of +6.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
