Barangay Dimalco

Situated in Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental, Barangay Dimalco is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dimalco had a population of 875. This made it the 18th largest of 28 barangays in Bonifacio by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dimalco accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of Bonifacio, which stood at 34,558 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dimalco moving from 823 residents to 875 residents, an intercensal change of +6.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Dimalco is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
