Barangay Barong-barong

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Barong-barong is one of the administrative divisions of Brooke's Point in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Barong-barong had a population of 4,564. This made it the 5th largest of 18 barangays in Brooke's Point by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Barong-barong accounted for approximately 6.17% of the total population of Brooke's Point, which stood at 73,994 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Barong-barong changed from 4,197 to 4,564, a shift of +8.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Brooke's Point. Barangay Barong-barong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Brooke's Point is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Barong-barong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
