Barangay Pangobilian

Barangay Pangobilian forms part of Brooke's Point, a municipality in Palawan, and is classified as a large barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pangobilian had a population of 10,368. This made it the 1st largest of 18 barangays in Brooke's Point by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pangobilian accounted for approximately 14.01% of the total population of Brooke's Point, which stood at 73,994 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 9,581 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 10,368 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pangobilian as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Brooke's Point is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pangobilian, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Palawan, which contains 433 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pangobilian ranks 7th by 2020 population. Palawan is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
