Barangay Calasaguen

Barangay Calasaguen forms part of Brooke's Point, a municipality in Palawan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Calasaguen had a population of 3,650. This made it the 9th largest of 18 barangays in Brooke's Point by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calasaguen accounted for approximately 4.93% of the total population of Brooke's Point, which stood at 73,994 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Calasaguen changed from 2,942 to 3,650, a shift of +24.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Brooke's Point. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Calasaguen as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Brooke's Point is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calasaguen, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
