Barangay Bagumbayan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bagumbayan is one of the administrative divisions of Bula in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bagumbayan had a population of 2,215. This made it the 13th largest of 33 barangays in Bula by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagumbayan accounted for approximately 3.03% of the total population of Bula, which stood at 73,143 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bagumbayan moving from 2,459 residents to 2,215 residents, an intercensal change of -9.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bagumbayan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
