Situated in Bula, Camarines Sur, Barangay Caorasan is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

This made it the 24th largest of 33 barangays in Bula by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caorasan accounted for approximately 2.04% of the total population of Bula, which stood at 73,143 in the same census year.
