Barangay La Purisima

Barangay La Purisima is a small barangay in the municipality of Bula, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay La Purisima had a population of 1,649. This made it the 21st largest of 33 barangays in Bula by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay La Purisima accounted for approximately 2.25% of the total population of Bula, which stood at 73,143 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay La Purisima moving from 1,349 residents to 1,649 residents, an intercensal change of +22.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay La Purisima as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
