Barangay 2 (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay 2 (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Calatagan in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 2 (Pob.) had a population of 1,404. This made it the 19th largest of 25 barangays in Calatagan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 2 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.39% of the total population of Calatagan, which stood at 58,719 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,408 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,404 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.3%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay 2 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
