Barangay Lo-ok (Pob.)

Barangay Lo-ok (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Calatrava, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lo-ok (Pob.) had a population of 1,703. This made it the 17th largest of 40 barangays in Calatrava by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lo-ok (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.06% of the total population of Calatrava, which stood at 82,540 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lo-ok (Pob.) changed from 2,126 to 1,703, a shift of -19.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Calatrava. Barangay Lo-ok (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
