Situated in Calatrava, Negros Occidental, Barangay San Isidro is one of 40 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 3,088. This made it the 5th largest of 40 barangays in Calatrava by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 3.74% of the total population of Calatrava, which stood at 82,540 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,072 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,088 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.5%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
