Barangay 5 (Pob.)

Situated in Camalig, Albay, Barangay 5 (Pob.) is one of 50 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

This made it the 46th largest of 50 barangays in Camalig by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 5 (Pob.) changed from 361 to 381, a shift of +5.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Camalig. Barangay 5 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Camalig is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 5 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
