Barangay Cabraran Pequeño

Barangay Cabraran Pequeño is a small barangay in the municipality of Camalig, located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabraran Pequeño had a population of 930. This made it the 29th largest of 50 barangays in Camalig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabraran Pequeño accounted for approximately 1.29% of the total population of Camalig, which stood at 72,042 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabraran Pequeño changed from 852 to 930, a shift of +9.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Camalig. Barangay Cabraran Pequeño is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Camalig is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabraran Pequeño, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
