Barangay Tagoytoy

Barangay Tagoytoy is a small barangay in the municipality of Camalig, located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tagoytoy had a population of 729. This made it the 35th largest of 50 barangays in Camalig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tagoytoy accounted for approximately 1.01% of the total population of Camalig, which stood at 72,042 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tagoytoy moving from 620 residents to 729 residents, an intercensal change of +17.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tagoytoy is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
