Barangay Jepaco

Barangay Jepaco is a very small barangay in the municipality of Can-Avid, located in the province of Eastern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Jepaco had a population of 298. This made it the 27th largest of 28 barangays in Can-Avid by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Jepaco accounted for approximately 1.37% of the total population of Can-Avid, which stood at 21,682 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Jepaco moving from 299 residents to 298 residents, an intercensal change of -0.3%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Jepaco is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
