Barangay Pandol

Barangay Pandol is a very small barangay in the municipality of Can-Avid, located in the province of Eastern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pandol had a population of 452. This made it the 20th largest of 28 barangays in Can-Avid by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pandol accounted for approximately 2.08% of the total population of Can-Avid, which stood at 21,682 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pandol moving from 423 residents to 452 residents, an intercensal change of +6.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Pandol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
