Barangay Malabanban Norte

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Malabanban Norte is one of the administrative divisions of Candelaria in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Malabanban Norte had a population of 13,453. This made it the 2nd largest of 25 barangays in Candelaria by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malabanban Norte accounted for approximately 9.76% of the total population of Candelaria, which stood at 137,881 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 11,673 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 13,453 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Malabanban Norte is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
