Barangay Panadtaran

Situated in Candijay, Bohol, Barangay Panadtaran is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Panadtaran had a population of 922. This made it the 17th largest of 21 barangays in Candijay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Panadtaran accounted for approximately 3.06% of the total population of Candijay, which stood at 30,119 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Panadtaran changed from 940 to 922, a shift of -1.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Candijay. Barangay Panadtaran is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Candijay is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Panadtaran, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
