Barangay Real (Pob.)

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Real (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Cardona in Rizal, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Real (Pob.) had a population of 381. This made it the 16th largest of 18 barangays in Cardona by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Real (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.76% of the total population of Cardona, which stood at 50,143 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Real (Pob.) changed from 500 to 381, a shift of -23.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Cardona. Barangay Real (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Cardona is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Real (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Rizal, which contains 189 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Real (Pob.) ranks 187th by 2020 population.
