Barangay Isla De Cana

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Isla De Cana is one of the administrative divisions of Carles in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Isla De Cana had a population of 380. This made it the 33rd largest of 33 barangays in Carles by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Isla De Cana accounted for approximately 0.52% of the total population of Carles, which stood at 72,637 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Isla De Cana changed from 368 to 380, a shift of +3.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Carles. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Isla De Cana as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
