Barangay Talingting

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Talingting is one of the administrative divisions of Carles in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Talingting had a population of 1,738. This made it the 17th largest of 33 barangays in Carles by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talingting accounted for approximately 2.39% of the total population of Carles, which stood at 72,637 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Talingting moving from 1,560 residents to 1,738 residents, an intercensal change of +11.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
