Barangay Bagumbayan

Situated in City of Balanga, Bataan, Barangay Bagumbayan is one of 25 barangays that make up the city within Central Luzon.

This made it the 19th largest of 25 barangays in City of Balanga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Bagumbayan accounted for approximately 1.98% of the total population of City of Balanga, which stood at 104,173 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bagumbayan changed from 2,074 to 2,067, a shift of -0.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in City of Balanga. Barangay Bagumbayan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Balanga is a city comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bagumbayan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
