Barangay San Isidro

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Isidro is one of the administrative divisions of City of Bayawan in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 1,280. This made it the 28th largest of 28 barangays in City of Bayawan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 1.04% of the total population of City of Bayawan, which stood at 122,747 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,067 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,280 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +20.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Bayawan is a city comprising 28 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
